Pokemon Black and White

Did this drawing a while back for another drawing challenge. I got to pick this time and my challenge was "What if Pokemon were real?" Figured I should post it now to tie in with the new release of Pokemon Black and White today. It's supposed to be Ash (looks more like Woody from Toy Story at this point with a peg leg but whatever) coming across a Venusaur in the middle of a jungle. It's not done but I'm done with it :P And looking at it now, it's neither black or white... Where's my Pokemon Gray?!

Do We Win? ahhh... Duy Nguyen

It's been a long time coming but I've finally decided to add a drop to the bucket that is blogging. It's like every animator/artist/human has one of these so I guess I'm a little late to the game but c'est la vie.

So let's get rolling. For my entire life, my name has always been a stuttering point in every introduction. Teachers would hit my name on the class list and freeze with panic. Often times I heard them call out "Die?", "Dee?", "Doy?", heck even "Doug?". I guess she must have thought my name was a typo or something. After a while, I'd just put my teachers out of their misery when I felt they got to my name.
This all brings me to the title of this blog "dowewin.blogspot.com". That's pretty much how you pronounce my name Do We or Dwee (actually I prefer this) = Duy and Win = Nguyen. Yes that's right, Win = Nguyen. Just trust me on this one. Now that my name is outta the way, I'll be posting some sketches, animations, pictures, etc. in the near future. Hope you come back to visit.
